Worden Martin Automotive Group Rebrand 

About The Project:

When the opportunity arose while at Moore & Scarry Advertising to pitch Worden Martin Automotive Group, we proposed a comprehensive transformation for the group that would see a unified brand identity, a forward-thinking tagline, and a new look.

Their six stores, including one store dedicated to pre-owned vehicles, all had different names - often with no obvious link back to them being a part of the group. It was counter to what was happening in the industry at large, so our goal was to create a cohesive brand umbrella these stores could be brought under.

Our Art Director came up with a new logo that laid the foundation for the rest of the campaign, tying in Worden Martin’s name with their connection to the automotive industry. The opposing “W” and “M” would translate into a new tagline: “We Move You Forward” that evoked their connection to the community and more than 65 years in business.

Each store, we proposed, would change to Worden Martin [Manufacturer] or WM [Manufacturer], and the used car store would be known as the Worden Martin AutoMarket - a more upmarket angle for the Worden Martin CarMart. The result was a distinctly modern rebranding for one of the nation’s oldest automotive groups.
